Brief

To build a large pool and entertaining area as close to the house as possible with uninterrupted views of the Plenty River.

Solution

There’s plenty of space to relax next to the large fully-tiled L-shaped pool with the surrounding entertaining areas paved with large format granite paving. Granite drop-face paving was also used for all the steps, level changes and pool edges but in a contrasting darker colour. The pool was orientated so the long infinity edge giving uninterrupted views of the surrounding bushland and river.

The adjacent pergola was designed so it doesn’t block out the stunning views from the house. Step down into the covered alfresco area, pull up a stool and have drink with your friend at the swim-up bar on the other side of the feature acrylic window. Pool built by Retreat Pools & Landscapes.
